Did you eat all the arugula?

Here’s a recipe from Janice:

12 oz. cooked rigatoni (We left this out)

9 slices of bacon (I found that I prefer real bacon)

1 med red onion, sliced

1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved

1 bunch arugula

Cook the bacon until crisp, in a large skillet.  Discard all but 2 TBSP of the drippings.  Add onion, season with salt and pepper, cook until tender, 5-6 min.  Add the tomatoes,  half the arugula and cook, tossing for 1 minutes.  Toss the onion-tomato mixture, add the pasta and bacon, place on  a bed of the remaining arugula.


Is the amaranth the leaf that looks like coleus?  It is very pretty.  I can’t wait to hear what it tastes like.

Please ignore me if you happen to find me in your suitcase during the Napa trip.  I promise to spend most of my time by one of the GORGEOUS pools in the pictures you sent.
