The Sun Was Out Yesterday

I think that was what caused the blue in this picture.  Janice has been asking for pictures of my flowers, I tried to put too many pictures on the blog. So today, I’m going to divide the pictures into two entries.

This is a cassia, or candlestick plant.  We cut these back to the ground in the spring. I’m amazed at how quickly they grow this BIG.

I wasn’t fast enough to take a picture of the beautiful yellow butterflies that like this plant, but this is one of the caterpillars.

Crepe Mytles bloom for a long time.  I have a few different colors:

Lily, my fountain has been happily spouting:

Elephant Ears are weeds in Florida.  I’m still too much of a Northerner to think that, so I have some planted to keep Lily company.

I have many times during the day that I think of you, but knowing that you have a bromeliad garden, my broms always remind me of my Sweetie.  These are blooming!

That’s it for this post, I’m going to put a slide show of the garden in the next entry.
