Daily Inspirations and Adventures

This blog post has gone to the dogs!

Poor 2-Putt had a rough day.  I was in my studio working this morning.  Anyone thinking of kidnapping me while I am quilting should be warned that I am heavily guarded.  2-Putt lies on the top step, with his nose sticking thru the railing, ready to attack anyone thinking of disturbing his Mom. If Eagle is upstairs, he is generally protecting me from his dog bed on my sewing table. If Eagle has not made it upstairs before 2-Putt was in guard position, he sits anxiously on the stair landing.  (One of the few dog rules Eagle follows is that you have to respect 2-Putt’s personal space.)  Bogie maintains vigil on the chest in the front window-you never know when a stray leaf might blow down the street and attack!

That was a lot of words to set up this story.  Neil turned on the water in his shower, then walked toward 2-Putt on his way to my room to see what I was working on. We think 2-Putt assumed he was going to have a bath. He jumped up, RAN downstairs, outside, and to the back of the yard.  It was the funniest thing, cracked me up.

To make matters worse for the poor dog, I vacuumed today.  AGAIN, he had to leave the house.

How does a dog look younger?  He gets a puppy cut.    Do you recognize this hansome guy?

P.S.  L.C. wants to know why she wasn’t included in the story about protecting me.  She says she is on 2-Putt’s team, she would have run outside if she thought she was going to get a bath, if she actually would go outside.  And she doesn’t have to protect me, she hopes the three buffoon dogs she puts up with are good for something.

  1. Oh, cute dog! How I wish could have dogs like that. I love its hair. I agree that dogs can look younger if their is cut.
