A true scrap quilt

I quilted this for Lynn K.  to give to her granddaughter as a birthday gift.  A group of quilters exchanged 2 ” squares of fabric. Each person sewed the squares into a top.   It was fun to quilt because there were so many different fabrics in the quilt.  Lynn’s granddaughter plays the violin, and is very involved in music.  The design  in the white sashing is a musical symbol.

This is the back, it’s hard to see the design, but a great picture of the texture from the quilting.

 (Make sure your suitcase is big enough for me to sneak in.)
