It’s nice to have friends who share

Judy and her husband Mike are hard core gardeners.  Over the weekend they raked and bagged 38 trash bags of oak leaves, planted one million caladiums, and divided their crinium lilies.  (I’m so impressed that they were both able to move today.)

Here are some assorted caladiums.  By the way, Aunt Kitty loves caladiums.

Crinium lilies are bulbs.  The bulbs Judy and Mike gave me were the size of cantaloupes!  It is hard to see in this picture, but they grow about 3 feet tall.

Mike told me that there would be no extra charge  for any snakes included in the bags of bulbs .   I wonder if he will charge for the what did  appear when I opened one of the bags:

A very nice surprise!
