A new yellow flower

Since our blog is now a year old, I don’t want to bore you with repeating too many flowers from the previous year.  (I couldn’t help myself with the Amaryllis pictures.  They are too spectacular.)  This flower is the size of a quarter.  Doesn’t it look like a little tiny rose? It is in a hanging basket in front of the house.

The front is also brightened up by this kalanchoe:

I’m going to research how I can use these Elephant ear plants in your garden.

 They are NOT the size of a quarter, this one is about 4 feet tall!  I also planted 2 types of basil, and mint.  It was another beautiful day.
