Granny Square Quilt Top -FINISHED

Ta Daaahhhh!!!!!!Granny 1This has been my sewing project at Judy’s house on Tuesdays.  It was nice to have one project packed up to work on with my Tuesday buddies.  (There were other occasional projects that I slipped into the Tuesday sewing.) Each block has 85 one inch squares.  There are thirty-six blocks in the quilt.  Each  border strip has 44 five block segments.  Using my higher math skills I calculate that there are about 4000 pieces in the quilt.  (3983 to be exact.) DSCN1591I think my Grandmother would have liked this.  You will see another example of this quilt later this week…I’m quilting Claudia’s Granny Square.
