You know I’ve always wanted to own my own flower shop, right? Well . . . how about owning your own FLOWER FARM! Um, that sounds amazing. 100 Layer Cakelet did a post on a woman who does just that (and creates masterpieces with the flowers, of course). The business is called Floret Flowers.
Seriously . . . you have to check out her website. I can’t even handle how amazing these creations are.
I’m so bummed right now that I don’t live in Seattle so I can’t participate in her Seattle Flower Subscription. From March until late October you get a weekly fresh bouquet of flowers for $35!!!!! (I just spent $20 yesterday on two bunches of daisies at the corner store – which will probably last 3 days mind you.)
You should also check out her blog. She recently went to a clematis farm in Napa to participate in a workshop with her idol. Who would have thought to put clematis is a bouquet? Beautiful and organic.
Okay . . . one more.
What an incredible gift to be able to a) grow the flowers and b) arrange them in such a beautiful way. Have a great weekend!
So we’re getting our bathroom redone soon (possibly next week – eek!) . . . which means Mike and I have to come up with a design idea STAT! That’s when I turned to good ole houzz.com.
I’ve admired this bathroom for a while now. Love the deep tub and wall storage area and clean look to it. I think, though, that we need a white vanity instead of dark brown.
The wall tile is pretty in this one.
Love the black grout and slate floors. Don’t like the vanity and fixtures.
This would probably not work in our space, but how amazing is this shower?
LOVE the vanity.
If we could somehow get a double sink in our bathroom I might never leave it.
Tile and vanity!
How cool is this hamper?
How perfect would this be in the Niantic Road house? (Okay . . . off topic)
This tile is awesome.
I like how clean this looks but we will need more storage under the sinks.
Ummm, how cool is this?
This tile is fun! (or is it ugly? I can’t tell)
Nice and simple, but again we need more storage under the sink.
Ugh, can you imagine . . .
I kind of like the white tile and the dark painted walls.
Mike’s dream shower.
I could seriously do this all day . . . but I have some work to do. What do you think?
This is one of my childhood flower memories. Mom mom always planted marigolds around the curved flower bed near the backyard.
I actually was able to get very close to this one. (They are taller than me!)
One of my clients just got back from a business trip to New Zealand and encouraged me to look up “Cape Kidnappers”. Kind of sounded a little scary and first but then these pictures showed up.
How amazing does the property look? Maybe someday I’ll make it there . . . 🙂
