Last week we enjoyed a visit from Birdie.  It is true that a young dog is good for older dogs.  Birdie runs in the house and IMMEDIATELY runs out the doggie door. She and Eagle run from one end of the yard to the other.  Since she is used to sewing, for arts and crafts she helped me measure a quilt.

(The quilt is one that Mom mom and Pop pop made.)  Eagle didn’t want his bestie to be alone with his Mom. Both Eagle and Birdie thought this quilt should have a touch of black on it. Notice that Eagle looks brown next to Bird.

We had a geography lesson and  learned that Birdies parents were in Hawaii.  Eagle decided to help Birdie dig a hole to find them.

They thought they could count this as a  gardening activity.

Just when I thought all my Amaryllis had bloomed, this one started. It is gorgeous.   It would probably be your favorite…white.DSCN2294 DSCN2295

Congratulations on 10 years with Mike.  And thanks for mentioning the new Dierks who will be arriving, I’m so excited and it has been hard not to mention my grandchild here.  I know this baby will have two  wonderful parents.
