A Two fer for Claudia

Claudia and I seem to have developed a system.  I return a quilt to her, she gives me a new top to quilt.  However, I actually caught up with her, and finished TWO of her tops.

Can you guess how the artwork was made in this quilt?  (This is a picture of the top before quilting.)

DSCN2819A very patient grandmother painted her grandchild’s hand and  printed them on fabric.  DSCN2852 Who had more patience; Grandmother or grandchild? Did you notice that she did this for six grandchildren?

Next is a cute zig-zag quilt.  These are so much fun to quilt.
DSCN2856I had to show the back…it’s a longarm thing.  The quilting usually shows much better on the back.DSCN2862This picture is for Cathy R.  She thought she was loosing her mind because she was sure Claudia had green in her zig zag quilt.  This is the piece Cathy remembers.DSCN2221
