Mom mom and I are still sewing up a storm. She started this quilt while teaching a neighbor at Calvary Homes to quilt. This is our latest finish.
A few years ago, you wrote a daily entry for a month about things you which you were thankful. That might be a good way for me to resurrect our blog. In addition, I read an article that reported that writing about things that made you happy increased your happiness. (Who would have guessed?)
So today I’m thankful that my daughter started a blog that allowed me to write happy things.
Hi! Mike’s company recently put this film together. I had no idea that this happened – did you?
Neil gave me this fountain for Christmas. (I missed my elephant fountain from Charro Lane. It was too large to move here.)
I hope the video works. I uploaded this to YouTube, as you suggested.
My quilting group that meets Tuesdays at Judy’s house is doing a ufo challenge this year.We are choosing 6 items we want to complete this year. Every two months we reveal a complete ufo. To make it exciting, we are each putting 12 dollars into a pot. Each time we comlete a project we receive one dollar back. At the end of the year we will draw for the remaining money in the pot.
Here are my projects:
I am happy to be so encouraged to complete some well “aged projects” that I still really like.
I’m almost ready to tell you that I’ve been blogging. How many days to make a new habit? Its actually two habits- blogging AND sewing.
This is my completed table runner:
Mom also finished a table runner. It is in her current favorite colors- black and white.
Two Christmas presents ready for next year!
